Governor Greg Abbott officially proclaimed Small Business Week in Texas from April 28 to May 4, 2024, to recognize the contributions and achievements of small businesses in the state. This proclamation highlights the importance of supporting and promoting the small business sector.
Rio Grande City is the center of entrepreneurial activity and our small businesses make significant contributions to the local economy and region. As of April 2024, Rio Grande City is home to over 600 businesses that provide essential goods and services to residents and visitors, stimulate job creation, and form the fabric of our city's unique entrepreneurial culture.
