Rio Grande City Main Street held its 3rdAnnual Bike & Boards Super Raffle at this year’s Freedom Fest on June 29 through July 1, 2018 at Basilio Villarreal Municipal Park in Rio Grande City.
With sponsorships from area businesses and private donors, Rio Grande City Main Street raffled a total of 50 items including children’s bicycles, skateboards, scooter and other youth sports equipment for the event. The free raffle has been a huge hit at Freedom Fest and continued growth is anticipated.
“We’d like to thank all our businesses for their support in making this event possible and helping us bring smiles to the children in our community,” said Nancy Perez, RGC Main Street and Business Development Coordinator. “In partnership with Rio Grande City Tourism Department, we look forward to next year’s Freedom Fest.”
