The UTRGV Small Business Development Center, in partnership with the Rio Grande City EDC, Rio Grande City Public Library, Rio Grande City Greater Chamber of Commerce, Starr County Industrial Foundation, and the Rio Grande Valley Hispanic Chamber, held The Power of Business Planning workshop at UTRGV at Starr County in Rio Grande City, Texas.
Presented by Ray Cano, Business Advisor with UTRGV SBDC, the session highlighted the importance of creating a business plan to keep your goals on track and a tool to help attract lenders and investors.
The UTRGV Small Business Development Center provides seminars and workshops that are free and available to the public. They are geared towards small business owners who are interested or require information regarding finance, customer service, and steps to open a business. The SBDC provides free, individual business counseling and low-cost advanced training to help find practical solutions for small businesses.
