After an outstanding tenure of ten years as the Executive Director of the Rio Grande City Economic Development Corporation (EDC), Dalinda Guillen steps into a new chapter of her career at Texas Regional Bank.
“In recognition of nine and a half years of exemplary service as the EDC Director, we extend our deepest gratitude to Mrs. Guillen for a decade of unwavering dedication, visionary leadership, and tireless efforts driving the Rio Grande City Economic Development Corporation forward,” said Rey Ramirez, Rio Grande City EDC Board of Directors President.
Under Guillen's guidance, the Rio Grande City EDC experienced significant growth and transformation. Through her strategic vision, she established fruitful partnerships, attracted prominent businesses, and supported local entrepreneurs, leading to a thriving business environment in the region. Through her leadership, the Rio Grande City EDC has become a catalyst for economic progress and development.
“Thank you to my EDC Board of Directors who I’ve had the pleasure of working with over the years,” said Mrs. Guillen. “Your vision for this community and your leadership have allowed me to work for my community. We have been able to build this community to where it is today.”
Mrs. Guillen expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to serve the City of Rio Grande City and the Rio Grande City EDC and thanked all those who supported her tenure. She expressed confidence in the continued success of the organization under new leadership.
