Officials of the Rio Grande City EDC and the City of Rio Grande City attended a luncheon hosted by the Starr County Industrial Foundation where Pete Alvarez, Pharr District Engineer Texas Department of Transportation presented road project updates for Starr County. Keynote Speaker Alex Meade, Commissioner of the Texas Department of Transportation, expressed his eagerness to represent the Rio Grande Valley and information on upcoming appropriations to the Rio Grande Valley, Rio Grande City, and our community.
