On Saturday, March 9th, historic downtown Rio Grande City witnessed an incredible display of community spirit as the Rio Grande City Main Street hosted a Keep Rio Grande City Beautiful Spring Trash Bash.
Over 60 dedicated volunteers from various organizations, including Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, high school students, and student council members, came together to tackle litter and beautify their lindo Rio Grande.
To show their appreciation, the Rio Grande City Main Street program treated the volunteers to pizza and refreshments for lunch. Each volunteer was presented with a special certificate of recognition, acknowledging their outstanding commitment to preserving the beauty of historic downtown Rio Grande City.
