Downtown Rio Grande City businesses set out candy and welcomed over 600 trick-or-treaters and their parents for a Halloween on Main adventure.
Princesses, superheroes, video game characters, and little monsters strolled the Main Street District as they visited downtown retailers, gathering candy for their goodie bags.
“ We hope everyone had as much fun as we did. We thank all of our downtown businesses for making this event a great success and we look forward to having it again next year,” said Nancy Perez, Main Street and Business Development Coordinator.
The Rio Grande City Main Street Program provides many opportunities to get involved. Anyone interested in volunteering is encouraged to visit the Main Street office at 406. E. Main Street or call (956) 488-0047.
