The old Rio Motors site has been demolished and is now ready for construction of a new Texas Regional Bank and a Blue Wave Car Wash facility.
Construction of a new Texas Regional Bank is set to begin on the east side of the property. Started in 2008, Texas Regional Bank is a regional banking franchise and has 20 locations across the Rio Grande Valley and Texas Hill Country.
Blue Wave offers quality, eco-friendly washes by recycling the water used in the car wash process. They use biodegradable soaps and detergents and capture and dispose of all contaminants. They also work locally with city groups to educate residents on the importance of water conservation.
