The Rio Grande City Economic Development Corporation will hold the fourth Rio Grande City Employer Expo and Job Fair in Rio Grande City. This event is organized by the Rio Grande City EDC with Workforce Solutions, Rio Grande City Public Library and UTRGV at Starr County Campus to bring together employers and jobseekers in Rio Grande City with career opportunities.
The two-day event will begin with three free workshops hosted by the Rio Grande City Public Library on February 4th from 9 am to 11 am. The workshops consist of tips on resume writing, interviewing skills and Dress for Success. The Dress for Success workshop will feature information on appropriate attire for the workplace with participation from the South Texas College Student Ambassadors.
These activities lead up to the Employer Expo and Job Fair on February 5th starting at 9 am to noon.
